Well, I borrowed this idea from Johnny's Fan, as I thought it was really cool. Here you will find quotes from famous people/movies/books that I really like. They are good to use in graphics or just say to your friends to sound really intelligent. :D

We are all inventors, each sailing out on a voyage of discovery, guided each by a private chart, of which there is no duplicate. The world is all gates, all opportunities. --Ralph Waldo Emerson

The only way of finding the limits of the possible is by going beyond them into the impossible. --Arthur C. Clarke

Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking. --William B. Sprague

Our greatest glory is not in never falling but in rising every time we fall. --Confucius

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them. --Henry David Thoreau

Every artist was first an amateur. --Ralph Waldo Emerson

Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead. --Louisa May Alcott

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us. --Helen Keller

In the hopes of reaching the moon men fail to see the flowers that blossom at their feet. --Albert Schweitzer

The happiness of life is made up of minute fractions—the little soon-forgotten charities of a kiss, a smile, a kind look, a heartfelt compliment in the disguise of a playful raillery, and the countless other infinitessimals of pleasurable thought and genial feeling. --Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back into the same box. --Italian Proverb

One day, your life will flash in front of your eyes... Make it worth watching. --Anonymous

"I have never had the courage to believe in nothing." -Miguel de Cervantes, Man of La Mancha

"Hold your ground! Hold your ground! Sons of Gondor, of Rohan! My brothers! I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me! A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship. But it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down. But it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good Earth. I bid you stand, Men of the West!" -Aragorn, Return of the King

It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand, I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turnin' back, only they didn't. They kept goin', because they were holdin' on to somethin'. There's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fightin' for. -Sam, The Two Towers
